The month of October is celebrated in the Church as the month of the Holy Rosary. The Rosary has been a source of devotion and prayer, as well as solace and comfort, for many centuries. It is a great weapon of spiritual force against temptations and trials in our daily life. The Rosary should be part of every Catholics battle gear. Together, with the Bible, Confession, the Holy Eucharist, and the Divine Mercy prayer, one can conquer a multitude of vice and evil. Prayed alone or with others, the culture can be moved by such a devotion and practice.
As they last, Rosaries and Scapulars will be made available at the foot of the altar. Please wear your Scapular and pray the Rosary. As we near the 100th Anniversary of our Lady’s appearance at Fatima, let us courageously and boldly beg her intercession to our Savior and her Son, Jesus Christ. The mysteries are included below for your benefit. Let us greet and meet each other in the saying and praying of the Holy Rosary!
