I want to strongly encourage you to attend these wonderful and beautiful holy days as we approach Easter Sunday. Put this message on your counter, or refrigerator, so as not to forget!
Last Chance Confessions—Tuesday April 4 from 7-8pm, and Wednesday, April 5, from 7-8pm, in the church.
Holy Thursday—the Lord’s Supper! Mass begins at 7pm, celebrating the great Sacraments of the Eucharist and the Holy Priesthood. Contained in this mass is the tradition of the washing of feet.
Let’s give thanks to Christ for this everlasting gift of the Holy Mass, and pray for Priests.
Good Friday – the Passion of the Lord. Good Friday celebrates the greatest gift of Love: Jesus’s death for the forgiveness of sins! This service begins at 3pm.
There is also a 7pm Stations of the Cross, with Veneration of the Cross at both services.
Holy Saturday—Easter Vigil. If you wish to have your Easter baskets blessed, and some of the food for your table, this occurs at 10am in the Church.
Saturday Evening Mass (which fulfills your Easter obligation) begins at 7pm. At this mass is the ceremony of light, the blessing of the Easter Water, and the celebration of our Resurrection in the Pattern of Jesus Christ. This is the holiest of days for a Catholic!
Easter Sunday—He has Risen, Hallelujah!!! Masses are at 8am and 10:30am in Church. Look sharp, be happy, praise God, and, thank you Jesus. Nothing is better than the glorious shout of the Christian on this morn: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
See you at these marvelous and joyous Feasts!
