Happy New Year!

Well, I’m finally going to get serious.  With 2018 upon me (and all of us), I turn 58 (in February).  With high blood pressure and pre-diabetes, it’s time to lose 50 lbs. and get in much better shape.  As always, every goal will have its challenges, but, today starts a new vision and action.  So, pray for me as I place my trust in God and give this year a true effort and actual accomplishment.

How will 2018 go for you?  What goals do you have and will practice the discipline to accomplish?  Is it physical, or spiritual, or both?  Whatever the goal, channel Christ next to you, helping you along the struggles and successes.  I am firmly convinced that when we invite Christ into our goals and accomplishments, many more blessings come our way.   Little encouragements from God and others wash over us.

So, as this new year begins, try something new, change a bad habit and replace it with a good one.  Decide to read more, exercise more, eat better, think better—just grow and be better!  May this new year be a great blessing to us all.

Happy New Year!
