Eucharistic Adoration--A Holy Hour with Christ

Like the Magi (The Three Kings) of old, who said, “We have come to do Him homage,” this is the essence of Eucharistic Adoration.  Our Lord is placed in a monstrance so that we can adore and see Our Lord in a public way in Eucharistic form.  Catholics believe that our Lord is Truly and Really Present in the forms of bread and wine.  When we expose Our Lord during a Holy Hour for Adoration and worship, we encounter Him in a wonderful and holy way.

Eucharistic Adoration or a Holy Hour with Our Lord is a great way to deepen our faith, share our time with Christ, talk to Him, and listen for His voice to give us comfort and direction.  You can pray the rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet, read the Scriptures, pray for others and the needs of the sick and suffering, and just spend some quiet time in this hectic and noisy world.  To give worship and honor to God is a great blessing and privilege.  To be afforded the opportunity to humble yourself in adoration to His Divine Majesty, can bring clarity and a fresh perspective to your life, not to mention a more peaceful spirit and a joyous heart.

I want to strongly encourage you to make time for this wonderful opportunity.  In the midst of our daily struggles and the chaos of the world, God looks out for us, and looks to meet you in Eucharistic Adoration, a Holy Hour with the Lord.  Sometimes, a whole hour may be too much at first or at certain time.  So, start out small or come for a period of time in that hour.  There is no such thing as wasted prayer or time with the Savior!

Our times for Eucharistic Adoration or a Holy Hour are:

First Fridays of each month after the 8:00 a.m. Mass with confessions.

Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday evening from 7-8:00 p.m. in church with confessions.

Come to Our Lord Who waits to hear from you and talk with you!
