Devotional Life

Coming up in the bulletin, starting the first weekend of May, you will find all the Mass, Confession, and Devotional times provided so that you may attend and deepen your prayer life and relationship with the Saints and Christ!

The devotions of the church provide one the opportunity to engage the communion of saints as a resource for relationship, love, and intercessions. In many ways, the devotional life of the people has taken a hit due to priests not offering devotional opportunities, or because people have become disinterested or unaware of such tremendous gifts.

Furthermore, I want to encourage you to attend daily Mass , or at least the 1st Saturday Mass, in addition to your weekly Sunday expectation. But, also, to engage in some of these centuries-old traditions of devotion and worship.

I can promise you that if your devotional life improves, so will your spiritual life be more in tune with God and His plan for you. So on the weekend of May 1-2,  take the bulletin, cut out the devotional section on the front, and put it on your fridge! No excuses like, “I didn’t know,“ can fall from your lips. Have a great week!
