  • Description: Immunizations will be provided by our parishioner/CVS pharmacist, Tom Wisinski. Tom has been a pharmacist for over 30 years and a certified immunization specialist for over 15 years.

    Tom will be able to provide both the Senior High Dose flu shot as well as the Quad or 4 Strain Deluxe flu shot... both of which are preservative free at no cost to you. As an added bonus, you will receive a $5 coupon which can be used at any Target store toward any purchase. These shots are available to anyone 6 years or older.  The only information you will need is to have your Medicare card or insurance card. (Medical and pharmacy) Tom will do the rest . So take a few minutes after Mass on October 7 to strengthen your immune system and avoid the flu this year.

    St. Joseph Parish will again be hosting the Annual Life Chain. This is a peaceful and prayerful demonstration in support of life. We will begin gathering at 1:30 p.m. in front of the church to sign in and choose a sign. Signs will be provided. The Life Chain will run from 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Treasures of the Church exposition

  • Description: St. Joseph Parish presents a teaching & exposition of Sacred Relics on Sunday October 28 at 6 p.m. 

    Father Carlos Martins of the Companions of the Cross will be here with his very special ministry to teach about these holy objects.  He will bring with him over 150 relics, some as old as 2000 years.  Among the treasures will be relics of St. Maria Goretti, St. Therese of Lisieux (the “Little Flower"), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Faustina Kowalska.  In addition, there will also be present a portion of the veil of Our Lady, as well as one of the largest remaining pieces of the True Cross in the world.  Those in attendance will be able to examine and venerate each relic.  In the Church’s history many miracles and healings have been worked in the presence of relics, and many have been healed through this ministry.  Please do not miss this opportunity.  You are encouraged to bring your articles of devotion (such as rosaries, holy cards, etc.) and pictures of ill friends/family members which you will be able to touch to the reliquaries as a means of intercession.
